And just like the waves of the ocean, the sun rises and sets so quickly that if you blink, you will miss it and then it's gone forever. The beauty is the sun will rise and set again tomorrow.
We all crave food to satisfy our hunger appetite. We crave stimulating conversation to satisfy our mental appetite. We crave positive encouraging loving words to satisfy our emotional appetite. We crave human touch and sexual interactions to satisfy our physical appetite. And for those who believe in a higher power, we need prayer and worship to satisfy our spiritual appetite.
Music is Life! From the sweet melodic harmonies to rat-a-tat-tat of snare drums to strumming guitar strings and beyond. Music transcends any language and can control your moods. Upbeat music can make you happy, cinematic music can excite your soul and slow downbeat music can bring you to tears. And lyrics can hold metaphoric meanings beyond your wildest imagination.
Going for a drive on those long winding roads through the countryside is an awesome freeing experience. You can forget about all your worries, turn up the volume on your radio and sing off-key as loudly as you want. And driving in Autumn when the leaves are the most vibrant shades of orange, red, yellow and brown is a sight to behold.
Sometimes you want to find a private place to be alone with your thoughts. To reflect on your past and imagine what may lie ahead in your future. Being alone inside your head may feel cold, like it's devoid of color and sound, like it has no beginning and no end and no way to escape. Wake up! The future is yours to make the most of every moment. Life is whatever you make of it and it's all up to you.
Lighthouses tower majestically over oceans and emit their powerful beacons to guide vessels to safety from storms and other peril. If you believe in God, it's the same as He emits His powerful light to lead you to His safety and righteousness. Whenever you are lost and confused, be still, be silent and look for His guiding light.
